2024 UPTOWN ART FAIR DETOUR!

The UPTOWN ART FAIR @ BACHMAN’S will be replacing the traditional event for 2024, taking place at Bachman’s Floral, Home & Garden Center at 6010 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis on Saturday 3, and Sunday August 4, 2024.

Join us to experience the creativity of 150 artists across 12 distinct mediums. Enjoy live music, engaging activities, and a raffle, all complemented by a selection of food and beverages. This vibrant gathering will unfold in the scenic surroundings of Bachman’s beautiful Garden Center.

Considered to be one of the finest art festivals south of the river, the Lakeville Art Festival is held the third weekend in September in historic downtown Lakeville, Minnesota on the grounds of the Lakeville Area Arts Center. Featuring approximately 100 juried artists on the park-like grounds using a unique circular arrangement of artist booths, the Lakeville Art Festival provides an intimate and accessible setting to enjoy fine art.

Join us for the 58th annual Uptown Art Fair August 4 - 6, 2023 in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis, MN. The event footprint is located at the intersection of Lake and Hennepin, the center of a lively, upbeat business district and is the busiest intersection in the State of Minnesota. Over $2.1 million of art is sold during the festival with some artists sharing that the Uptown Art Fair is the most successful show of the season, and in some cases, of their career. Annual average attendance is 375,000 over the three day event. Approximately 350 artists will be invited to exhibit this year.

Minnehaha Falls Park, one of Minneapolis' oldest and most popular parks, features a majestic 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs, and river overlooks, attracting more than 850,000 visitors annually.

Minnehaha Falls Art Fair hours will be 3-8pm Friday, 10am-7pm Saturday, and 10am-5pm Sunday. The event will feature between 100-150 artist booths, along with music, crafts, food, and more. Set up will take place Friday morning and early afternoon. Every artist will be assigned a load in time to allow for ease of traffic flow. Overnight security will be provided Friday and Saturday nights.

One key marketing strategy for the Minnehaha Falls Art Fair is "Items Under $30 At Every Booth!" This will be required of every artist.

The event is a ZERO WASTE event. This means that artists, food trucks, and other vendors will not be allowed to use items that are not compostable or recyclable. IE-You are not allowed to put your art in plastic bags to send with customers. This rule will be strictly enforced. (The art itself does not need to be recyclable or compostable, but sustainable art practices are encouraged.)

The quaint lakeside village of Wayzata, otherwise known as the jewel of Lake Minnetonka, draws art lovers from across the twin cities with its charming shops and dining hot spots. Wayzata Art Experience, held in the heart of downtown Wayzata, provides a 2-day celebration of art, music, food, and fun for all ages! Established in 2004, the Wayzata Art Experience is held on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. All forms of art will be seen, heard and tasted by the experts.
